 Media Advisory: REMOP presents ‘What is Risk ?’

The University of Georgia’s Savannah River Ecology Laboratory’s Radiological Education, Monitoring and Outreach Project will answer the question “What is Risk?” at its community talk. The talk will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. and on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Burke County Library. The library is located at 130 GA-24 in Waynesboro, Georgia.

This event is free and open to the public.

REMOP is a community outreach program designed to educate Burke County residents about environmental monitoring, including metals and radioactive elements. The program is supported by the Atlanta-based non-profit, Georgia Women’s Action for New Directions.
