Outreach and Communication Staff

Administers SREL’s Outreach and Education initiatives; handles external affairs for the lab, implements the media and marketing strategy, serves as spokesperson for the lab; expands and builds upon external partnerships and collaborations; oversees undergraduate experiential learning opportunities for the lab

Conducts outreach education to schools and community organizations utilizing outreach animals; responsible for the care and maintenance of animals and supplies used in presentations; engages with the public as part of the Lab’s communication team on social media; coordinates and conducts SREL presentations for the SRS Public Tours, site contractors, and external audiences

Schedules and conducts outreach presentations to communities and schools surrounding the Savannah River Site, using animals to educate and promote the research at SREL and fostering an appreciation for science and the environment

Crafting captivating content across various mediums, ensuring SREL's cutting-edge research reaches and resonates with diverse audiences, fostering engagement and awareness.
