So…just how much DNA is in your cells?
Each cell in your body contains about 1.7 meters of DNA.
If a cell was                 enlarged to the size of an aspirin pill, the DNA in that cell would be 10,000 meters long. That’s as long as 109 football fields!
If you laid the          DNA from all your   cells end-to-end, the strands would stretch from the Earth to the Moon about 6,000   times!
There’s a LOT of DNA in your cells!
