Brian is a Research Professional at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of South Carolina-Aiken, his Masters degree from Clemson University, and his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Georgia. His Masterís research focused on the impacts of beaver impoundments on herpetofaunal communities. His doctoral research investigated the effects of contaminants on the reproductive success of amphibians. Brian is involved in a number of ongoing research projects at SREL including the long-running Rainbow Bay study and the effects of contaminants on amphibian and reptile populations.
